Hello
i have uploaded a jpg image to create my website but the image does not show up
error message account contains no index file (EG: index
i already have index file and it still happens
pls advise

What's your index file called? needs to be something like index.htm, index.html, index.php
Also, be aware that this is case sensitive, these filenames must be lowercase.
For images, the html / links etc must match the case of the files exactly.

ok.. do you have an html file of any type (html, phtml, shtml, htm, php, etcetra) in your root folder? Has to be html, not an image or text file.

What is the name of the html file? It has to be index.html in order for it to open unless you add /name_of_file.html to the end of your links. Currently, I only get a 404 error when I go to your site at http://free5438.110mb.com/

I had that problem once! I had used some unaccepted characters like ç or é or ã or ô from portuguese. don´t use any accents or strange characters in the name.  |

free5438, to help us help you, could you provide a link to the page that's causing you an issue? Going to http://free5438.110mb.com/ gives a 403 error code (i.e. you don't have an index file), so it's difficult to determine what your problem is. Snap!
