A good majority of us here can code our own websites  I'm sure someone will want one sooner or later.

a good webpage is worth paying for - remember there's really 3 things you could pay for that would be justified

1) Design - the look and graphics and styling of the page, while most people can create sites with tools or whatever, not everyone can properly design a page to look good.  Visit geocities or angelfire for an example of this.

2) Coding - Dynamic scripts and the likes, again this is the one most people feel is worth paying for, it's the base of a site.

3) Content - If you don't have your own, you can get people to write you some.

I believe he's offering #1.

It would be good for you to offer examples of your work, like a portfolio. Just show some images or a demo of design you've made.

if you advetise a system that gives you your own webpage on a webhost you probably wont get as much traffic as if you advertise on a social networking site
